7 Tactics to Trick the World into Higher Consciousness

In a culture where “thinking outside the box” is a common cliché that gets tossed around by people who simply do not think outside the box, we sometimes need ways to jump-start our world views, to stimulate our weltanschauungs, and to kick open our third eye. Here are seven tactics that just might give us the momentum we need to launch us out of our comfort zones and into a higher state of awareness.

Motorola Patents Device That Lets You Send Thoughts to Your Phone

Though filed in 2012, news of Google’s mind reading device did not get publicized until November 2013. On May 03, 2012, Motorola Mobility, a Google-owned company, filed to patent a tiny device that can detect a person’s thoughts via unvocalized words.

If you've heard about Fukushima radiation spreading to the Pacific Coast of North America but were "corrected" by sources both official and expert that this was based more on rumor than reality, then consider the information presented at the October 2013 North Pacific Marine Science Organization (PICES) annual meeting.

Proof That The Pineal Gland Is Literally A 3rd Eye

Is it possible that you literally have a third eye that connects you to spiritual dimensions? The pineal gland is something as that is spoken of the in New Age community as being the intuition organ and the connection point between body and spirit, but very few people realize that the pineal gland is in fact a literal eye.

Obscene wealth: World’s 85 richest have same wealth as 3.5 billion poorest – Oxfam

Giant 3D printer could build homes in under a day

Scientists in California say new technology will soon allow massive 3D printers to build entire multi-level houses in under a day.

University of Southern California Professor Behrokh Khoshnevis has for years been working on a building printing technology called “contour crafting,” and has earned accolades from the likes of the National Inventors Hall of Fame and even NASA for his efforts. Soon, he says, he’ll be able to use that system to create entire structures out of concrete using what is essentially a gigantic 3D printer.

Alternative Currencies Grow in Popularity

Most of us take for granted that those rectangular green slips of paper we keep in our wallets are inviolable: the physical embodiment of value.

But alternative forms of money have a long history and appear to be growing in popularity. It's not merely barter or primitive means of exchange like seashells or beads. Beneath the financial radar, in hip U.S. towns or South African townships, in shops, markets and even banks, people throughout the world are exchanging goods and services via thousands of currency types that look nothing like official tender.

China abolishes its labour camps and releases prisoners

China's leaders address Chairman Mao's 're-education through labour' by closing labour camps across country and releasing tens of thousands of prisoners.

China appears to have fulfilled a promise to dismantle hundreds of labour camps and release tens of thousands of people who were imprisoned in them without trial.
A series of visits to six enormous labour camps on the outskirts of Beijing suggested that four had been shut down, with their signs removed. Staff said all their prisoners had been released and they were waiting for further orders.

The other two camps had been converted; one into a drug rehabilitation centre and the other into the second cell block of a local prison.
Interviews with former labour camp prisoners across China also confirmed that the system has been disbanded and that they had not been placed in any other type of detention.

The Illusion of Time

One of the big puzzles in life is the illusion of time. Everyone accepts that there is a past, present and future.

We constantly look to the 'future' to provide for us all the things that are not in our present, or NOW. However the more we work at being present, the more obvious it is that any future is just an illusion.

The reality is that we experience a succession of "NOWs". A good analogy is that of a film going through a projector. Each static picture changes slightly but the changes take place smoothly and minutely on the screen of NOW so that we only see a continuous, but moving, picture. We cannot alter the past.

EU To Ban Heirloom Seeds and Criminalize Unregistered Gardens

If the global domination is allowed to take root, biotech and Big Agra will control the world food supply, at the expense of personal liberty.

Because independence is the greatest of all crimes under the emerging global government, which essentially works to protect the dominance established by the biggest of corporations, who participate, in turn, as de facto members of the ruling oligarchy – and in baby steps through the EU, and emerging North American Union, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, et al.

The U.S. has already seen its fair share of cases where backyard gardens and rain collectors are raided by SWAT teams, shut down through regulations and otherwise intimidated out of proliferation.

Plants get their energy using quantum entanglement

Biophysicists theorize that plants tap into the eerie world of quantum entanglement during photosynthesis. But the evidence to date has been purely circumstantial.

Now, scientists have discovered a feature of plants that cannot be explained by classical physics alone — but which quantum mechanics answers quite nicely.

The fact that biological systems can exploit quantum effects is quite astounding. In a way, they're like mini-quantum computers capable of scanning all possible options in order to choose the most efficient paths or solutions. For plants, this means the ability to make the most of the energy they receive and then deliver that energy from leaves with near perfect efficiency.

Does Your Doctor Treat Disease or Care for Health?

Have you ever had this experience? You go to your doctor with several symptoms, hoping to leave with a better understanding of what is causing them only to walk out a new drug prescription. At the conclusion of your visit, you are even more confused and have no idea what is actually wrong with you.

You desire clarity of your health condition. You didn’t want another drug to mask the symptoms and pretend that they aren’t there. You leave with frustration and reluctantly accept that this is just how healthcare works.

Why does this happen? Why does there seem to be such a huge disconnect between you and your doctor? Are the two of you on completely different pages in the story of your life and health? What is the solution for this problem? Is there a solution?

Massive Exoplanets May Have Earth-like Climate with Oceans and Continents

Massive planets called "super-Earths" are common in our galaxy, the Milky Way. Now, though, scientists have found that these planets are far more likely to have an Earth-like climate than previously thought. The findings could help researchers in their hunt for habitable planets.

In previous research, scientists thought that super-Earths would be very unlike Earth; each would be a waterworld with its surface completely covered in water. This new study, though, challenges these findings.

In order to learn a bit more about super-Earths, the researchers created a model that treated these exoplanets like Earth, which has quite a bit of water in its mantle. This rock contains tiny amounts of water, which quickly adds up because the mantle is so large.

In addition, a deep water cycle moves water between oceans and the mantle. This idea actually showed that if super-Earths stored most of their water in their mantles, then they would have oceans and exposed continents. This would enable a stable climate, like Earth's.

Torrent temptation: EU Parliament, Vatican, Hollywood download pirated content

Despite global efforts to curb copyright infringement, the temptation to use BitTorrent sites to download free movies and TV shows is too strong for employees in the EU Parliament, the Vatican, the US House of Representatives, and some Hollywood studios.

The new information was revealed by TorrentFreak, which used a tracking outfit called ScanEye to identify those illegally downloading files in some rather surprising places.

The website reported that EU Parliament employees have shown keen interest in downloading pirated movies and TV shows while at work. Dozens of recent “hits” entered from EU Parliament IP addresses on several BitTorrent trackers revealed that employees have downloaded pirated versions of new movies such as ‘Elysium’ and ‘Monsters vs. Aliens.’ They also appear to be fans of classic flicks such as ‘The Ten Commandments,’ as well as popular television shows such as ‘Breaking Bad.’

UFO Disrupts Travel at Bremen Airport [video]

An unidentified flying object ruined travel plans for passengers at Bremen airport on Monday night when it kept appearing on air traffic control's radar.

The airport said on Monday night that the UFO showed up on its radar several times over three hours from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

Police said in a statement that they were alerted at 6.30 pm about a UFO over Bremen and a patrol car also saw the object.

A police helicopter was sent up to try and find the UFO but could not, although the Weser Kurier newspaper reported it could be seen through binoculars from the airport's traffic control tower.

The Eleventh Hour – Decision Time

It is a well-known fact in biology that pressures of an existential nature on a species result in two possible outcomes. The first outcome is that the species evolves. It adapts by way of biological evolution to the new conditions and survives. The second is that the species does not evolve and thus perishes.

This also is the case if it evolves but the time frame is too short to complete the process. Humanity and the web of life are currently facing existential threats in very many ways. Almost all of them are manmade.

Mass extinction is already going on. Extinction is a natural phenomenon, it occurs at a natural “background” rate of about one to five species per year. Scientists estimate we are now losing species at 1,000 to 10,000 times the background rate, with literally dozens going extinct every day. Though new species are also discovered the mass extinction of species is undeniable as we must assume that the most of the newly discovered species were already present  but not yet known. It is thus a matter of time when a collapse of the entire web of life will occur and with it the collapse of the human species. Life will probably continue but it is highly unlikely that the species of the human being will survive this collapse.

5D Crystals Can Store Data Virtually Forever, Scientists Say

Researchers at the University of Southampton have recently announced that they are able to store and retrieve huge amounts of five dimensional data on quartz crystals.

The technology has immediately received a cool nickname: the "Superman memory crystal" - after the "memory crystals" used as storing devices in the Superman films.

I. How does it work?

“…the data is recorded via self-assembled nanostructures created in fused quartz, which is able to store vast quantities of data for over a million years,” explains a press release. “The information encoding is realized in five dimensions: the size and orientation in addition to the three dimensional position of these nanostructures.” [1]

British ex-spy launches foundation to support whistleblowers

Annie Machon, a former MI5 operative who blew the whistle on the UK’s dubious spying activities, has started a new fund to support other whistleblowers such as former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.

Called the "Courage Fund to Protect Journalistic Sources," Machon said the foundation will strive to ensure that whistleblowers, such as Snowden, currently in Russia where he has acquired temporary asylum, and Chelsea Manning, sentenced to 35 years in prison after releasing the largest-ever cache of secret US documents – receive the protection they need.

So many journalists write so many stories, but what happens to the whistleblowers? They’re left swinging in the wind,” Machon said in a speech at the Chaos Communication Congress (CCC) in Hamburg at the weekend. “If they can’t survive the process of coming forward, then we will not have these people.”

Syria asks UN Security Council to Prosecute Turkey for Supporting Al Qaeda Terrorists

Damascus has officially asked the UN Security Council to prosecute Turkey and all countries that support the militants operating in Syria.

In a letter to United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon that was released on Monday, Syria’s Ambassador to the UN Bashar Ja’afari said that aiding the militants is a blatant violation of the resolutions of the international guiding bodies, including the resolutions of the UN Security Council.

The Turkish authorities are systematically offering help in supplying arms to terrorists operating in a number of districts in Syria", he said.

They support the groups which every day carry out terrorist attacks against the Syrian people, government buildings, and other infrastructure facilities,” the diplomat wrote.

Fast and Furious UK-Style: Britain’s Gun-running to East Africa, Somalian Pirates

In the US, we’re used to seeing the alphabet soup agencies involved in trafficking arms, and as long as the government are doing it, no one in government seems to mind too much.

For Washington DC, state-sanctioned gun-running has developed into a nice, not-so-little cottage industry, with arms flooding into the hands of criminal drug cartels in Mexico being well-documented through Eric Holder’s ‘Fast and Furious’ scandal.

Add to this the recent CIA admission of overseas gun-running into the hands of quasi-terrorist outfits in Syria, and you can see how government-controlled gun-running operations are key to maintaining instability and a criminal climate in regions all around the world.

By contrast, in Britain, business enterprises international gun-running are mere whispers in the halls of Westminster, and remain well-hidden behind the walls of London’s infamous financial ‘Square Mile’. Based on a new report this week (see full article here), it seems the British Government have been caught in their own Fast and Furious episode – this time shipping some 44,000 guns to East Africa – in the last 15 months alone. That’s just the tip of the global iceberg.

Herbalism, Not Big Pharma, is Oldest and Most Effective Medicine

While many pharmaceutical medications are disruptive to the overall functioning of the body, numerous herbs actually support the natural healing powers of our own bodies.

Herbs can be so effective at healing that we are still using them even after thousands of years. A primary reason many of us frown on herbal medicine in modern times is because mainstream Western medicine shuns it. Big pharma spends billions of dollars to make sure we buy patented medications rather than medicine from mother nature.

According to many statistics, pharmaceutical companies have us hooked on their medicine like a junky on the streets. More than 70% of the American population is on some type of chemical drug. In the 1980s, there was a huge ‘war on drug’ campaign issued by the Federal Government, but the truth is that Big Pharma is pushing drugs on us more than any coke dealer in history ever has.

Sound wave 3Dvolution: Japanese scientists move objects using acoustic levitation

Japanese scientists have been successful in moving an object in a three-dimensional space through a complex system of acoustic levitation, surpassing previous research endeavors that lifted the objects in two dimensions.

In order to move expanded polystyrene particles of 0.6 mm and 2 mm in diameter, the Japanese scientists at the University of Tokyo and the Nagoya Institute of Technology had to place the objects inside a complex set-up of four arrays of speakers.

Using a refinement of the existing technology of sound wave management, bubbles, a screw and a tiny piece of wood were airlifted and moved around in all direction within the experiment’s confines.

New environmentally friendly technique efficiently converts algae to crude oil within an hour

The process by which common algae is converted into usable biofuel just got a whole lot more environmentally friendly and efficient thanks to new discoveries recently made at the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL).

Researchers there have reportedly come up with a new method of extracting crude oil from wet algae that uses no toxic chemicals and takes about an hour to complete, arguably the most significant renewable energy technology breakthrough in recent years.

The process is known as hydrothermal liquefaction, and some experts say it is the most promising advancement yet towards the eventual commercial production of usable fuel from algae. By putting harvested algae under immense and continuous pressure and heat, PNNL researchers discovered that the all-natural substance can be quickly and effectively transformed into usable crude oil, generating only clean water, nutrients and natural fuel gas as byproducts.

Parallel Worlds exist and will soon be testable, expert says

Is there another you reading this article at this exact moment in a parallel universe?

Dr. Brian Greene, author of The Hidden Reality: Parallel Universes and the Deep Laws of the Cosmos, believes that this freakish quirk of nature may exist; and he discusses its amazing possibilities in this 3-minute TV interview.

A growing number of cosmologists agree with Greene that we are but one of many universes and at least one of these other worlds lies close to ours, maybe only a millimeter away. We can't see this world, because it exists in a type of space different from the four dimensions of our everyday reality.

Huge Crop Circle Appears In California - December 31, 2013

A massive crop circle taking up approximately one acre of land appeared in Salinas, California during the night of December 30, 2013.

The dots in the center of the formation are apparently a message encoded in braille. KSBW consulted braille transcriber Debra Falanga, as well as orchestra conductor Carl Christensen, and both agree the dots are braille and the message is "192". It translates directly as:

15 People With Shitty Lives Who Are Happier Than You Are

by Chris McCombs

Right now there’s a guy doing life in prison who’s more free and happy than every single person you ran into today, including you, me, and the dude who’s got it all.

Right now there’s a woman with no arms and no legs enjoying her life far beyond what you or I can even fathom.

Right now there’s a homeless guy who appreciates his urine-stained piece of sidewalk more than any billionaire in the world appreciates his mansion on the hill.

Right now there’s woman who was sexually abused her entire childhood who’s making a more positive impact on people’s lives than any best-selling self-help guru who’s ever promised you that you can “have it all.”

Right now there are little children playing hide-and-go-seek in a war zone with bullets flying over their heads who are more optimistic about their future than any one of the success-driven Americans repeating feel-good affirmations of personal prosperity while staring at vision boards covered with images of perfect bodies, dream homes and private jets.
